MEET OUR DOGS

Presley is our Grand Champion, finishing his GCH in only 3 show weekends after his champion title. He also is Farm Dog Certified too and always willing to try new adventures. 

Presley joined our family from An Excellent Choice kennel in The Netherlands. We were so happy to add a boy to our pack & are so thankful for the friendship and trust from his breeder Natasja Moonen.

Presley's parents are Verheyen Brando & Crystal Rock of an Excellent Choice. Presley comes from many generations of healthy dogs and beautiful champions.

Presley made his show debut at only 7 months old and during the 1st weekend of showing Presley won Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Best of Breed Owner-Handled

We have big hopes and dreams for Mr. Presley!

Presley is normal for all genetic testing: Dry Eye/Curly Coat (DE/CC) clear, Episodic Falling (EF) clear & Medium-Chain Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase Deficiency (MCADD) clear. 

Presley has passed his annual heart and eye OFA health screenings and also passed his hips and elbows x-rays and is now CHIC Certified. Those results can be verified at the OFA website at the following link:

Abbey is our ray of sunshine from Sailor's 1st litter. She was born the day the queen of England passed. We call her Abbey, after Westminster Abbey and she also has the "queen's kiss" on her forehead which by tradition, means blessed by the queen.  That is how I came up with her registered name. 

This sweet girl is a near carbon copy of her grandma Gracie. 

Abbey's parents are Sailor (Katy's Mid Summer Nights Dream) & Fawkes (GCH Meadowlake Phoenix Fawkes).

Lexie came to us from our friends at Meadowlake Cavaliers. 

Lexie's parents are Rosie (Meadowlake Desert Rose) & Graham (CH Meadowlake Gimme S'mores). 

We are looking forward to many wonderful years with our sweet baby girl. 

We still have a ways to go before we start our annual health testing so for now we are enjoying her puppy stage & I wanted to share her pretty face on our website!

Gracie is now retired but she is the foundation of Katy Cavaliers & is the mother of our keepers: Callie (retired), Sailor, Lincoln (in California) & Ava.  Gracie is the grandmother of Abbey & Harper. She enjoys her retired life on my mom's farm where that has always been home for her. Gracie's just as happy to be with us here as she is on the farm & we get together as often as we can. It is not uncommon for Gracie to show other moms how to parent or take care of puppies who are not hers. She's a natural nurturer & loves being a mom & grandmother.

We are happy to share that Gracie remains heart clear after 5 years of age which is such great news for her puppies families and our keepers. 

Gracie was our 1st dog to receive her CHIC certification with the OFA and is something we have vowed to achieve for all future dogs in our program. CHIC certification means she passed every possible health test available for our breed and the results are publicly available in the OFA database.

Merlot lives her retired life with her son & a wonderful family who we are blessed to call our friends! 

Merlot lives for playing fetch and will bring the ball back to you EVERY single time, even if you try to watch TV she will find a ball and quietly sneak beside you and drop it in your lap. Merlot is so competitive at her favorite game of fetch if she doesn't get to the ball first she will take it out of whoever's mouth in mid run and bring it to you as if she was the one who won the game all along. 

Merlot was our 1st retiree and showed us what a beautiful gift of a furever family looks like. We get updates often and she loves to come back to visit us, but is ready to leave with her family when it's time. What more could we ask for?!

Mailly now lives with her 1st daughter & their family and she is completely adored. We knew it was a perfect match because we love her family too! 

Mailly loves being with her family, riding in the car, going to track & swim practices, meeting new people and sleepovers in the kids rooms. 

She has always had the sweetest, laid back personality and loves to chase bubbles and birds. 

Mailly was a natural mother & loved her babies so much! She never minded helping out with puppies who were not hers. 

We enjoy getting updates and photos of Mailly's adventures & Mailly is heart clear at 5 years old.

Callie now lives with her furever family and she is the center of their world.  After we got to know Callie's families there was never a doubt in our minds she was destined to be with them & they are now part of my extended family too! 

Callie enjoys snuggling with her Papa in his chair and hearing bed time stories from Mom. 

She loves playing fetch any time someone has a ball & has never met a stranger she didn't instantly love. 

Gemma joined our family from the other side of the world where she was born in Poland! 

If you ever get the chance to meet Gemma you will have to ask her for a hug which is her signature trademark. She's the perfect combination of outgoing and confident & she was an instant hit with all our dogs when we brought her home. 

Gemma now lives with our dear friends who also have a puppy from the same kennel in Poland.

Katy is always making us laugh with her boisterous, outgoing personality & absolutely LOVES the show dog life. Her favorite place at home is either in my lap or on top of the recliner & her head tilts get me EVERY TIME! She is obsessed with chasing bubbles & would do that A-L-L DAY LONG if we let her. 

Katy came to us from Seaborne Cavaliers and we are forever grateful for their trust and friendship. 

Katy's amazing parents are CH Seaborne Pageant Material (Anna) & Multi-CH Riverdale Of An Excellent Choice (River).  Katy won her championship in our hometown & took her championship photo on the exact same podium that her mom Anna took her win photo on 3 years prior at the same show! Talk about following in your mom's pawprints.

Although Katy was not meant to be a mom herself, she LOVES each puppy that we have and immediately becomes their favorite aunt. 

Sailor was one of our best moms ever. She was such a natural and definitely made my life easier when she had her babies. 

We named her Sailor after our youngest son's enlistment into the Navy. 

Sailor enjoys her carefree retirement with her sister Ava. 

Ava was the last keeper daughter from our Gracie. She was the easiest puppy I have ever kept, happy-go-lucky, fit right in with our crew & so easy to please. Ava makes  friends easily and instantly. 

Ava had a singleton puppy each time we tried and luckily it worked out where she would co-parent with another mom each time. That doesn't always work out well with dogs & we were thrilled when it did. We decided that It was too much work for both of us.

Harper agrees that not all dogs are natural moms and she was definitely not anything like her mom Sailor in that category. In true princess fashion she had me setting a timer every 2 hours to sit with her while she fed her babies & we decided it was best for her to be a beloved member of her family & not try again.
