MEET OUR DOGS

Gemma joined our family from the other side of the world where she was born in Poland! 

She is such a good baby girl. If you ever get the chance to meet Gemma you will have to ask her for a hug which is quickly becoming her signature trademark. She's the perfect combination of outgoing and confident & she was an instant hit with all our dogs when we brought her home. 

We are so happy to add a dominant whole color cavalier back to our pack. 

Gemma's parents are CH Lavira Victoris Zherom Bizu (Bosko) & Tosia Dobry Rok. Gemma's dad is quite the show dog and she is already enjoying showing as much as he does!

Gemma is normal for all genetic testing: Dry Eye/Curly Coat (DE/CC) clear, Episodic Falling (EF) clear, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) carrier & Medium-Chain Acyl-CoA Dehydrogenase (MCAD) clear

Harper is our keeper from our Spring 2023 litter! I planned the entire breeding praying for a tri girl & when her temperament, structure & movement were evaluated at 8 weeks we knew we had a shining star.  

Harper’s papa Boaz lives on the other side of the world in The Netherlands. Isn't modern technology amazing??? 

Harper’s parents are CH Womanizer of An Excellent Choice (Boaz) & Katy's Mid Summer Nights Dream (Sailor).

Presley joined our family from An Excellent Choice kennel in The Netherlands. We are so happy to add a boy to our pack & are so thankful for the friendship and trust from his breeder Natasja Moonen.

Presley's parents are Verheyen Brando & Crystal Rock of an Excellent Choice. Presley comes from many generations of healthy dogs and beautiful champions.

Presley made his show debut at only 7 months old and during the 1st weekend of showing Presley won Reserve Winners Dog, then the following day he won Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Breed and Best of Breed Owner-Handled

We have big hopes and dreams for Mr. Presley!

Gracie is now retired but she is the foundation of Katy Cavaliers & is the mother of our keepers: Callie (retired), Sailor, Lincoln (in California) & Ava.  Gracie is the grandmother of Abbey & Harper. She enjoys her retired life on my mom's farm where that has always been home for her. Gracie's just as happy to be with us here as she is on the farm & we get together as often as we can. It is not uncommon for Gracie to show other moms how to parent or take care of puppies who are not hers. She's a natural nurturer & loves being a mom & grandmother.

We are happy to share that Gracie remains heart clear after 5 years of age which is such great news for her puppies families and our keepers. 

Gracie was our 1st dog to receive her CHIC certification with the OFA and is something we have vowed to achieve for all future dogs in our program. CHIC certification means she passed every possible health test available for our breed and the results are publicly available in the OFA database.

Sorry ladies Canon is off the market! Canon is our retired black and tan AKC Cavalier who will do just about anything for a puppy treat, frisbee or ball! 

I often say if Canon were human he would be an Engineer... he's more interested in how things work (ex. bubble machine, ball launcer) than the actual toy. 

We entered Canon in his 1st dog show at only 14 months old and he WON 1st Place 12-18 Month Dog AND 1st Place Junior Sweepstakes 12 to under 15 Months!  Way to go Canon!!!  

Canon lives with Callie but comes home to us often. He still runs the show when he's here, taking a toy outside with him every time he goes out and still wants to sleep at my feet when it's bedtime. I hope he teaches Presley how to be just as awesome as he is. 

Canon was heart clear at 5 years old! 

Merlot lives her retired life with her son & a wonderful family who we are blessed to call our friends! 

Merlot lives for playing fetch and will bring the ball back to you EVERY single time, even if you try to watch TV she will find a ball and quietly sneak beside you and drop it in your lap. Merlot is so competitive at her favorite game of fetch if she doesn't get to the ball first she will take it out of whoever's mouth in mid run and bring it to you as if she was the one who won the game all along. 

Merlot was our 1st retiree and showed us what a beautiful gift of a furever family looks like. We get updates often and she loves to come back to visit us, but is ready to leave with her family when it's time. What more could we ask for?!

Mailly now lives with her 1st daughter & their family and she is completely adored. We knew it was a perfect match because we love her family too! 

Mailly loves being with her family, riding in the car, going to track & swim practices, meeting new people and sleepovers in the kids rooms. 

She has always had the sweetest, laid back personality and loves to chase bubbles and birds. 

Mailly was a natural mother & loved her babies so much! She never minded helping out with puppies who were not hers. 

We enjoy getting updates and photos of Mailly's adventures & Mailly is heart clear at 5 years old.

Callie now lives with her furever family and she is the center of their world.  After we got to know Callie's families there was never a doubt in our minds she was destined to be with them & they are now part of my extended family too! 

Callie enjoys snuggling with her Papa in his chair and hearing bed time stories from Mom. 

She loves playing fetch any time someone has a ball & has never met a stranger she didn't instantly love.
